What to expect at a pediatric gynecological exam
After arriving at the office and being greeted by our friendly office staff, you will be asked to fill out some medical paper work and share your insurance information.
Once you and your child are with the doctor, you will discuss the child’s medical history and the current symptoms, if any, are being experienced. Sometimes the doctor will perform a pelvic examination if deemed necessary. If a pelvic examine is conducted, you will have the option of staying in the room if desired.
